about our therapies
Supervision
Our supervisors are integratively and psychodynamically trained, so we are able to work with therapists from a range of theoretical backgrounds.
Previous supervisees have come from person-centred, psychodynamic and integrative trainings. We believe that supervision is crucial for professional development and can be tailored to suit the level of experience and stage of training of the supervisee.
Our supervisors have experience in supervising trainees on programs ranging from diploma courses to doctorial level courses.
Previous supervision relationships have included students from The University of Essex, University of East London, Metanoia, South Essex College and University Collage London.
Individual Supervision
If you are a trainee counsellor or practising psychotherapist looking for supervision, then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. The Henry Centre has several supervisors who offer individual sessions, on a regular yet flexible basis.
Fees start at £60 per 50-minute session, depending on your professional circumstances and whether you are a trainee or qualified.
“Supervision was invaluable for me whilst training. Natalie really helped me to think about my work and what might be going on for my client on a much deeper level. Supervision also helped me to really develop my confidence as a professional and belief in my practice.
I was able to examine my blind spots in what felt like a robust and supportive environment whilst always pushing my learning edge.”

“After going through huge structural changes as an organisation, Amanda was asked to come in and provide external supervision and work on group dynamics.
It was helpful team to explore difficult and complex cases with an independent supervisor. A safe space was created for the dynamics within the team to be explored which created a feeling of unity and cohesion”.
